Enrolment process

If your child turns 5:  

  • between 1 January and 30 April (inclusive), your child/ren can start primary school at the start of the school year
  • between 1 May and 31 October (inclusive), you can choose to start your child either at Mid-Year intake (of same year) or the start of the following year
  • between 1 November and 31 December (inclusive), your child/ren can start primary school at the start of the following school year

Your child must be at school by their 6th birthday.  

If our school is not your local school, you can still apply to enrol, but enrolment will only be offered if we have places available.

Mid-year intake

If your child turns 5 years between 1 May and 31 October, they can start school in either:

  • term 3 of the same year
  • or term 1 the following year.

Students enrolled through a mid-year intake will complete 6 terms of reception.

Apply to enrol

Step 1: when your child turns 4, contact the school to start your enrolment process.  

Step 2: you will need to provide the following verification documents with your enquiry: 

  • a copy of the child’s original birth certificate or passport 
  • primary proof of address – Council Rates or Lease Agreement
  • secondary proof of address (for example gas or electricity bill)
  • residency visa, if you’re a non-Australian resident

Offers of enrolment

Step 3: Once documentation has been verified and placements have been selected, notification of enrolment will be sent to you. 

Step 4: At this point, you will be invited to attend an information session and a school tour.  

To get to this stage you’ll need to have provided:  

  • a completed enrolment form 
  • a copy of the child’s original birth certificate or passport 
  • primary proof of address – Council Rates or Lease Agreement 
  • secondary proof of address (for example gas or electricity bill)
  • residency visa, if you’re a non-Australian resident

Transition visits

Before starting school, you’ll get a letter to let you know when you can attend a transition visit in term 4. This is for all our new school starters.
